Deer season 2026
Virginia’s general firearms season on private land in Wythe County runs November 14, 2026 through January 2, 2027.
If you’re coming to Southwest Virginia for the season, the Inn at Foster Falls is a quiet place to come back to at the end of the day: ten guest rooms in an 1887 inn beside New River Trail State Park.
Season dates are from the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources; always check current DWR regulations before you hunt. The Inn does not offer hunting, guiding or hunting access.
